Description
C=128 Hz Verdi Tuning Fork. 128 Hz is the frequency of the C string on the viola, one octave below middle C (256 Hz) in the Verdi tuning system (based on the A or La at 432 Hz). C=128 Hz is also included in the Physical Scale (alternatively known as the Harmonic Spectrum or Pythagoream scale). In 1962, Maria Renold, a concert violinist, developed the “Twelve Fifth-Tone Tuning” method and conducted aural experiments comparing human responses to C=128 Hz in the A=432 Hz scale against C=261.63 Hz in the A=440 Hz scale which is the standard adopted by most musical professionals today. The C=128 Hz Verdi Tuning Fork is also one of the Osteophonic tools used by medical professionals for pain relief, physical healing, nervous system & mental health, and holistic bodywork.
Each SWB 256 Tuning Fork is individually wrapped in a plastic bag and shipped with a pouch (the pouch color varies) in a padded mailer.
